BOTOX® is a botulinum type A product. A wrinkle injection that treats glabellar lines and other wrinkles by temporarily blocking the release of acetylcholine from nerves, helping prevent muscle movement in the area and relaxing the skin. Active Substance: BOTULINUM TOXIN TYPE A Strength: 100u Package size: 1 x 100u Vial Botox 100U contains botulinum toxin type A, which helps block nerve signals to relax muscles. Use this botulinum toxin to help correct the appearance of facial wrinkles, restoring skin to a smoother, more relaxed look, or treat muscle spasms, excessive sweating, or chronic migraine. Administer these injections every three or four months to maintain a smoother, more youthful appearance. BOTOX is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of: • treatment of focal spasticity, including: • ankle and foot in ambulant paediatric cerebral palsy patients, two years of age or older as an adjunct to rehabilitative therapy • wrist and hand disability due to upper limb spasticity associated with stroke in adults • ankle and foot disability due to lower limb spasticity associated with stroke in adults • symptomatic relief of blepharospasm, hemifacial spasm, and idiopathic cervical dystonia (spasmodic torticollis) • prophylaxis of headaches in adults with chronic migraine (headaches on at least 15 days per month of which at least 8 days are with migraine)
